I don't get this. It is a clean business transaction involving an already road-worthy car. Why the fuss? Why the heck did they have to waste one precious day in our lives? They ought to rethink the whole process. Franken70 was inspected only about 2 months ago, after an engine transplant. Talk about redundancy... And the worse part is, we still have to wait for at least a few weeks before we see the registration card with my name on it. Efficiency from the government? Keep dreaming...
Anyway, I drove the Franken70 anxiously in heavy traffic... Once near my house, I was drifting all over the place... Holyshit... This car is waaaay more tail-happy than my ex-touge machine! Once the Franken70 was home, everyone had to get close:

With Han's help, we:
1) Got rid of the front stock seats
2) Installed SSCUS seat for the passenger, and Bride for the driver
3) Removed the old steering wheel and replaced it with my deep dish steering
4) Got rid of the rear seats to make way for the roll cage coming in tomorrow
For tomorrow(Wednesday), we need to:
5) Install the 5ZIgen ProRacer for sound effects :P
6) Weld a half cage into the car
7) Install a working horn
8) Install this front lip, arriving tomorrow afternoon:

On Thursday, we need to:
9) (May or may not install the runners for the ITBs)
10) give the transmission and LSD some TLC with fully synthetic Red Line oil
11) give the car a thorough wash and polish for that extra shine :-)
On Friday:
12) Put some stickers on the car to promote this site, Red Line, my advanced driving school, etc..
13) Wait for Jeya to come back, install round headlights, replace front grille, etc.
14) And maybe install ram-air through one of the round headlights.
On Saturday:
15) Gotta pick up some tires for drifting
16) Bring the car for a run at the touge to check out the suspension settings
On Sunday:
Have a blast at the track!!!

OMG~ the monster is home :P lol~
so how's the ride feel? should be extra "scary" for a drift newby like us ^^.
ooo, finally got ur car, lol, no wonder ur so busy today, hahah. i could help u design the stickers if u want to lol, but overall, hope to see ur car soon! :D
is the ke70 white in color? hehe
Dennis,
The ride home was extremely hard and harsh, running a track suspension on uneven roads was very uncomfortable!
Kev,
Yup it's white! What sticker scheme do you propose :)?
WAAAAAAAAGH~!!!
I'm booking a ride this Sunday and I dun care who else is!
Man I miss my RWD monster... But it had to be sold in the name of progress.
I was thinking an anime theme with Rei Ayanami from "Evangelion" lying along the length of your car in a massively torn up suit and some slight bandages. Oooh... She's got that pessimistic, I-wanna-rip-your-guts-out kinda look, and looks cute to boot!
Oooh ooh... A sexy chick holding a gigantic scythe along the length of your car!!! WOWWWEEEEEEE!!!
After all, this car is gonna be a battle car ma :D
Nice.
Requesting full-vehicle photos during/after modifications =)

Congratulations! :)
But do I see an AE86 dash in there?? :P
Scav,
Damn! Gotta get one of those sexy girls with ripped clothes to lie on the KE70 for a pictorial... That would make a nice banner!
S22,
Coming right up, buddy!
Terry,
The ride was bone-shaking, I gotta adjust the suspension.. Arghhhh!!!
banpei,
Thanks and good eyes! It does has an AE86 dashboard :)
scav, lol, about the evangelion theme, im ,gonna do it in my car, lol. just waiting my current front glass to be removed, *due to irresponsible ppl damaging my front windscreen* then im gonna plaster ayanami rei on top of my windscreen or ask my fella anime artist to custom draw a new anime character, calling her "neo-chan" heheh. always good to have contacts :D
as for tk, i've drafted some designs to help him fit the sponsors stickers too, hope he likes it and everything else is mystery now until the coming sunday. i hope i could make it too
The Lip looks good, where did you get it from? I'd like to get one for my KE
Mark,
Where are you located? Email replied :)
Remember to get a few more similarly dressed umbrella girls for this Sunday's track day so that we can all pretend we need "shade"~!!!
