"GiGi got ran over!"

Apparently, a white Wira ran GiGi over and didn't even stop, which destroyed her legs (joint missing!). I called all the vets and specialists I could get my hands on. After a series of X-rays, the prognosis wasn't good, as treatment would significantly affect GiGi's welfare, and she would have to live in pain. I told everyone this is no expenses spared. I will pay anything, but it was useless.
She was euthanized later today.
For the first time, in god knows how many years, I sat down in front of my house and cried . I didn't even remember how to cry anymore. But there I was, crying on the phone, helpless.
And no, if you are thinking of breaking the legs of the Wira driver, it serves no point to harm him. GiGi's gone. S' dad should have kept a leash on GiGi, as she was super healthy and hyperactive. Negligence by the caretaker and the driver caused a life. I am not gonna pursue further. Nothing could bring GiGi back.

WTF?! I just read in S's blog yesterday that she's healthy, gained lotsa weight and now this...so shocking.
Don't be sad for too long, you've done your best.
Man, I am so sorry. GiGi's life was far too short, but I am sure that she knew a lot of love in her time.

that reminds me of my friend's case. My friend loves animals. One time he found a kitten inside a drain, and he took it home without hesitation. But he got a puppy in house, that means he cant keep in home, only can keep outside. The next morning when he was preparing to take it to pet shelf, the kitten escaped from the box few minutes before, walked out to the road, and an evil driver purposely turn his steering to the direction of the kitten, which he wont run over it if he keep straight, and the kitten died after few hours of sufferings. My friend regretted that he could have gone out few minutes to save the kitten.
After few days, he saw one kitten with a mummy cat beside. Few hours after, once again ran over by a unknown driver.
To those evil people, wish you die in sufferings. To those stupid drivers, please focus on driving, do not think of other things when you are driving in resident area.

Indeed, GiGi was doing so well, life was too perfect. It was only 4 days before she'll be united with Ruby, my other dog, but it was never meant to be :(

If the Wira driver stopped after hitting GiGi, there was a high likelihood that her legs wouldn't be beyond "repair." But he didn't care.
I read your blog everyday & it cheerful my day,this is 1st time i feel sad when read it & i can feel your sadness bro.

Miracle happened to GiGi when she got distemper, but fate bring her away.... she has happy time with you, TK, i think she is one of the happiest dog even though her life is short.

It is God's will. Hopefully you and S can get over the grief soon. There is still so much you can help, like other puppies and one of the way is to share your distemper serum/vacine to other who might have the same problem and wants to try it. You can post it in your blog to benefit all and in memory if GiGi. ;'(
So sorry TK. Well you know as they say, all dogs go to heaven. I hope the wira driver receive his karma...
