After dinner, I got a call from Kev that he was in town, so I gathered Felix, Boy & Pui Yee, Elaine and Chris, at the Caltex gas station nearest to the touge entrance:
Uphill:
We left for the touge when everyone was ready. I was leading at first, with Felix right behind me. Elaine and Chris' Savvy was behind, followed by Kev's Neo. However, Felix and I decided to make the video a little dramatic (chase scenes between ourselves), so we waved Kev's Neo by, and both Felix's KE20 and my Franken70 started to play chase behind the Neo:
My 3rd gear could not be engaged in high rpm... I could only get it in in low rpms. Whenever I downshifted from 4th into 3rd, I had to double-declutch... Time for a new synchronizer??? One funny thing (not funny to Boy & Pui Yee), when we reached the uphill checkpoint, we didn't see any sign of Boy & Pui Yee!!! Yikes... Apparently Kev left this couple at Caltex when we all took off lol :D !
Downhill:
I didn't bother to record the downhill session, coz everyboday said he would go slow. Man, whenever I do that, I miss out on footages. Kev spun towards the end of the touge, damn, I should have exclusive footage but.... Oh well... At least Kev was alright, and there wasn't one scratch on Kev's car...

lol, now my face is totally red man! lolz. anywhos, i was hessitating about speeding and not speeding, because i was left out pretty far. lolz, the brakes got spongy. i'm planning to change the brake pads once this wear off. the ceramic brake pads does not live up to its name and quality! i still think the brake pads from speedworks are way better

lolz yeah, i still need to learn how to recover from spins. definitely not my forte, kudos for elaine et al. being sporty and wanting to touge with their savvy. i've learnt something new today by trailing them

our main purpose is to deliver something to you and have a makan trip... seriously we had alot of good food this round... thanks a million to host us and sorry for all the trouble again...

Your driving was beautiful. I was following behind, watching how your car transitioned into each corner. It was almost like enjoying a dance, albeit on the touge :)
Ya, I enjoyed the downhill too. Despite with those expired performance tires I can fast sweeping the corners with much confidence.
lol, i was definitely not sure what i was doing without ABS, with felix tailing with his quad eyed monster, i was really panicky, lol! well its ok, we all got curfew
